YKI course for the National Certificate of Language in Swedish, intermediate level (1 op)

Do you want to boost your Swedish skills and feel confident taking a national certificate of language in Swedish exam at intermediate level? This course helps you strengthen vocabulary, grammar, and communication skills so you can use Swedish effectively in everyday and academic contexts.

Objectives and content: After completing the course, course participants will be able to

• use their language skills regarding both vocabulary and grammar in order to complete a general language exam at B level
• know where to find different materials in Swedish that can be used when studying in Swedish
• have improved their communicative skills in Swedish up to level B1 on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
• have improved their passive language skills needed to understand spoken and written Swedish on level B1 Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
• communicate about topics such as family, relationships, society, work, health, spare time and the environment.

Grading: 0-5

The course is worth 1 study credit (Oma Opintopolku/My Studyinfo) and comprises 28 h + about 10 hours independent work. Instructions for obtaining study credits will be provided prior to the start of the course.
