Objectives and content: Course 1 covers chapters 1–4 in the book (Rivstart A1+A2), and corresponds to level A1 on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Having finished Swedish 1 the student will be able to
- pronounce basic words correctly
- count and use numbers in Swedish
- exchange greetings and talk about how people are
- introduce oneself and ask polite questions
- talk about timing and the clock
- tell about her everyday routines in the present tense
- use some common verbs in the present and the imperative tense, nouns in the singular form and the possessive pronouns in the nominative form
Starting level: Beginner level
Book: Lindemalm-Scherrer: Rivstart A1+A2 (Natur & Kultur), 2023, textbook and exercise book, chapters 1–4
Grading: 0-5
The course is worth 1 study credit (Oma Opintopolku/My Studyinfo) and comprices 29 h, a test of about 1 h + about 5 h independent work. Instructions for obtaining study credits will be provided prior to the start of the course.
