Ready to move beyond the basics? Swedish 4 introduces more complex grammar and vocabulary so you can express opinions, discuss traditions, and navigate everyday and professional topics with confidence. This course is ideal for learners who have completed Swedish 3 or have equivalent knowledge.

Objectives and content: Course 3 covers chapters 11-13 in the book (Rivstart A1+A2) and corresponds to level A2.1 on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
Having accomplished this course, the student will be able to
- talk about Sweden (or Finland), geography, economics and talk about different countries
- discuss food and traditions
- discuss relationships and personal interests
- use and understand central computer- and IT-related vocabulary.
- discuss work and studies
- exchange views
- use adverbs for destination and position, begin to use sentences with subordinate clauses, use common conjunctions, use time expressions and use the past and the perfect tenses correctly

The course is worth 1 study credit (Oma Opintopolku/My Studyinfo) and comprices 29 h, a test of about 1 h + about 5 h independent work. Instructions for obtaining study credits will be provided prior to the start of the course.
