Objectives and content: Course 6 covers chapters 5–8 in the book (Rivstart B1+B2) and corresponds to level B1 on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Having finished Swedish 6 the student will be able to:
- talk about leisure activities and socializing
- discuss forms of government, and politics
- describe geographical regions and traditional foods
- explore the history of Sweden and the Nordic countries
- use prepositions correctly in various contexts
- express time and duration with appropriate time expressions
- deepen the understanding of word order in both main and subordinate clauses

Grading: pass/fail
The course is worth 1 study credit (Oma Opintopolku/My Studyinfo) and comprices 29 h, a test of about 1 h + about 5 h independent work. Instructions for obtaining study credits will be provided prior to the start of the course.
