Objectives and content: Course 3 covers chapters 8–10 in the book (Rivstart A1+A2), and corresponds to level A1.3 on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Having accomplished this course, the student will be able to
- communicate in customer situations such as in a department store
- talk about colors and properties of products
- discuss travelling and tourist attractions in Stockholm and Malmö
- write short messages such an SMS
- show the way around a town
- discuss transport
- talk about the weather
- use ordinal numbers
- use verbs in the perfect tense, use nouns in the definite plural tense, use prepositions of place

The course is worth 1 study credit (Oma Opintopolku/My Studyinfo) and comprices 29 h, a test of about 1 h + about 5 h independent work. Instructions for obtaining study credits will be provided prior to the start of the course.
