For students

Welcome to Helsinki Summer University! You can register for our courses regardless of your age or educational background. We are open to anyone interested, all year round.

In addition to open university and open polytechnic studies, our diverse curriculum includes language teaching, information technology, art courses, high school graduate courses, in-service training and open public events. The curriculum is constantly updated according to current topics and educational needs. As a summer university we offer only short-term courses and study modules, not degree programmes.

We organize both contact and distance teaching as well as online courses. Much of our teaching is focused during the evenings, so that it’s possible to study alongside work or other studies.

In our courses the main language of instruction is Finnish, but there are some courses in English also. Please check the course description.
