Swedish 2

Objectives and content: Course 2 covers chapters 4–7 in the book (Rivstart A1+A2), and corresponds to level A1.2 on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages

Having finished Swedish 2 the student will be able to

• use phrases for simple customer situations such as cafés and grocery shops
• talk about every day routines in the past tense
• discuss spare time and hobbies
• tell about her family
• ask for directions
• use simple grammar such as some common nouns in the plural form, use common verbs in the past tense, use some prepositions for showing the way, use the pronouns in both the possessive and the object form, use some auxiliary verbs in the infinitive form and conjugate adjectives in the indefinite form according to gender and singular or plural forms

The course is worth 1 study credit (Oma Opintopolku/My Studyinfo) and comprices 29 h, a test of about 1 h +  about 5 h independent work. Instructions for obtaining study credits  will be provided prior to the start of the course.
